SYRIA IS RESPONSIBLE

The Israeli attacks this week on Lebanese infrastructure show the cowardice and cruelty of the Syrian dictatorship. After annihilating Free Lebanon, and its imposition of a police puppet state, Syria has continued its cowardly ways of fighting Israel indirectly through Lebanon. The Lebanese are as usual innocent victims of our two brutal neighbors. The Syrian thugs continue to enjoy peace on the Golan, while intensifying their fires consuming Lebanon in a futile war against Israel.
Hezbollah has lost every legitimacy in its cause and actions. It has become an instrument of Iranian and Syrian subversive policies, and despite its respectable social accomplishments, does not fight for the interests and welfare of the Lebanese people. Why continue a futile fight when Israel has already accepted UN resolution 425 and offered numerous times to coordinate its withdrawal only to be rejected by the Syrian-appointed Lebanese governments, who insist on linking the fate of south Lebanon to that of the Syrian Golan. Hezbollah history shall brand you as a mercenary force, brainwashed ideologically to fight for the Interest of the Syrian dictator Assad, and not for Lebanon. Wake up and unite with our people. It is an act of treason to say the least, to cause harm to your country and people only to serve the Syrian occupation. To become truly patriots, Hezbollah must turn its weapons against the Syrian occupation troops as well, and help liberate Lebanon from all occupations.
The irony is that it was through an Israeli and American green light that Syria took over Lebanon. The final blow came on Oct 13, 1990, when the US rewarded the dictator of Syria, Assad, for his support in the liberation of tiny Kuwait from the dictator of Iraq, Saddam Hussein.
The US policy towards Lebanon has been hypocritical and criminal. Israel, the world order, and specially Lebanon are today paying the price for the continuing appeasement of Assad who will fight Israel until the last Lebanese. The continuing crime committed against Lebanon by the US, Israel, and Syria shall not be forgotten by the Lebanese when we recover our freedom and sovereignty. No matter what the occupation powers try to brainwash people or through media blackouts, the crushing majority of Lebanese understand well, that they have been subjugated to slavery by the US, to a brutal dictatorship from the Middle Ages.
Syria and Israel are like two squabbling thugs who yell loudly at each others, but when they strike, they hit a little boy (Lebanon) standing next to them. They are cowards who speak of a peace of the brave! It is time they settle their hatreds on their own common borders and leave us in peace. We call for the immediate implementation of UN resolution 520, and 425, which require the withdrawal of all Syrian and Israeli occupation troops from Lebanon. To the sleeping consciences in Washington we send a wake up call: Enough is enough. It is a war crime to continue the physical, economic, ecological, and cultural slaughter of the Lebanese. How can you continue to sleep in peace at night. The lie that you fabricated in Taef has not been bought. Lebanon exists only on paper. The reality is that it is a Syrian colony that is being milked by powerful regional and international mafias, and prepared as consolation prizes for the final settlement of the Palestinian problem.
