How to Disarm Hezbollah

The answer is very simple; those who armed Hezbollah should be constrained to disarm it. If the Syrian dictatorship tries to play the disengagement game, claiming that it cannot disarm Hezbollah because it is being forced to withdraw from Lebanon, then the world powers will make it pay a very costly price.

A criminal is responsible for leaving land mines which would blow up in the face of the innocent. If you cannot get to the terrorists directly, pressure someone close to them and that will get their attention.

The Syrian dictatorship cannot escape its responsibility in sabotaging peace for the last 3 decades. The world need not confront Hezbollah itself at this stage.

All it needs is to force its masters into capitulation. In the end, even after meeting all current demand, the Syrian dictatorship shall be vanquished and a new democratic regime shall be installed in Syria. Hezbollah will also be disarmed willingly or through force.

Nasrallah can be a peaceful Sistani, a semi rebellious Moktada Sadr, or a crushed Mullah Omar. The choice is his to make. We do not care which way he chooses, but in the end, he shall be disarmed regardless.
