Bible Of The
Day
Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians 13/1-13: "13:1 If I speak with the
languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding
brass, or a clanging cymbal. 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all
mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains,
but don’t have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the
poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me
nothing. 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag,
is not proud, 13:5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own
way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 13:6 doesn’t rejoice in
unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes
all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails. But
where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various
languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 13:10 but when that which is
complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with. 13:11 When
I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now
that I have become a man, I have put away childish things. 13:12 For now we see
in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will
know fully, even as I was also fully known. 13:13 But now faith, hope, and love
remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.

Hariri opens door to Iranian-Hizballah takeover of Lebanon's armed forces
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report November 30, 2010, Hizballah Iran Khamenei
Lebanese PM Hariri Saad Hariri and Ali Khamenei - an exercise in friendship
under menaceLebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri ended his two-day visit to
Tehran Monday, Nov. 29, with consent for Iranian Revolutionary Guards officers
to take part for the first time in coordinating sessions between Lebanese and
Hizballah commanders, debkafile's military and Iranian sources report. Hariri
was steered toward this concession in meetings with President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad and defense minister Ahmed Wahidi. He was told it was the price for
an audience with supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
What Hariri's action means is that the Lebanese chief of staff Gen. Jean Kahwaji,
will henceforth be obliged to coordinate all his operational decisions and
actions with Hizballah's Iranian chief commander, Gen. Hossein Mahadavi of the
Al Qods Brigades, as well as the new Hizballah commander on the Israeli front
line, Hashim Safi Al-Din, Hassan Nasrallah's cousin and a staunch pro-Iranian
loyalist. debkafile's military sources note that, since Hizballah's top military
echelon in Lebanon functions under the operational orders of the joint
Iranian-Syrian headquarters in Damascus, so too will the Lebanese army.
Therefore, Hariri's concession in Tehran opened the door to the IRGC moving in
on the Lebanese army.Khamenei greeted the Lebanese Prime Minister with his new
instructions: "You should consolidate relations with Hizballah," he said,
explaining: "As long as the occupying Zionist regime exists, Lebanon needs
Resistance (a euphemism for Hizballah)." The supreme leader did not mention the
Lebanon's national army forces as a factor in these instructions because, in his
mind, Hariri's concession had already waived its autonomy and accepted the
inevitability of its merger with Hizballah as a unified force under the latter's
superior command. Ayatollah Khamenei's last remark to his Lebanon visitor was
loaded with menace: "If the government and the Resistance form part of the same
front, this country will follow the path of greatness and development, and the
Zionist regime will not be able to do it the least harm." And if not? Hariri was
given to understand that if Lebanon toes the Iranian-Hizballah line, he and his
country will prosper and live in peace. But if not, Lebanon faces the
alternative of deathly domestic struggle ending in the triumph of the Hizballah
"Resistance."
Hezbollah terrorists entering US through Mexican border; Obama ignores evidence
November 29th, 2010 3:57
Examiner.com
http://www.examiner.com/american-politics-in-vancouver/hezbollah-terrorists-entering-us-through-mexican-border-obama-ignores-evidence
Hezbollah terrorists are entering the US through the Mexican border, yet the
Obama Administration ignores the evidence. Americans should now not only be
vigilant against illegal immigrants crossing the border from Mexico (and
bringing with them all their lovely crime, diseases and salary depreciation).
They should also be vigilant against a second headache that is piggybacking its
way into the US through the underground tunnels that drug cartels normally use
to gain entry into the US. According to a congresswoman who has seen evidence
from the Drug Enforcement Agency, this additional problem of the porous
US-Mexican border is a worrisome reality that the Obama Administration is
completely in denial about.
Sue Myrick is a GOP congresswoman out of North Carolina and also a member of the
House Intelligence Committee, and she has been trying to get a task force set up
to deal with the invading Hezbollah terrorists through the southern border for
months, only to have Obama’s Homeland Security Department either refuse to
answer her letters on the issue, or totally deny it. However, it is indisputable
that such terrorist infiltration into the US is occurring, since a New York
district attorney actually handed down an indictment on August 30th of this year
regarding an arms-for-drugs deal that was initiated. It involved the trading of
cocaine that came from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) that
was to be exchanged for many weapons, which a Hezbollah agent in Mexico was
housing.
On a weekend segment of "Huckabee" that was actually informative, Myrick further
says that the conspiracy between Mexican drug cartels and terrorists like
Hezbollah is only a natural evolution from the fact that both organizations want
to bring weapons and the like into the US. What makes the infiltration of
Hezbollah so fluid is the existence and use of the drug tunnels that are
continually being dug and are also quite sophisticated, which exist underground
and run from Mexico to the US.
This makes a lot of sense when you consider that Hezbollah is actually an expert
in building these kinds of tunnels—over in the Middle East! The point is that
the drug tunnels that the Mexican cartels use are actually not their own,
original idea, but merely a copy of the Islamic terrorists’ design that they’ve
been using against Israel for years.
Another panelist on the show, Deputy Speaker of Israel’s Knesset, Danny Danon,
actually revealed that there are currently training camps of Hezbollah
terrorists being trained by Iran, and these camps are located along the border
of Columbia and Venezuela! The Islamic terrorists have penetrated into South
America with ease, and they have chosen this location as a strategic launching
point to give them a direct entry into the US! Yet despite all this evidence and
firsthand testimony, the Obama Administration is dismissing another important
national security issue.
Isn’t it almost miraculous that the US hasn’t been attacked yet when there is a
clear and present danger of Islamic terrorists basically amassing just south of
the US? According to Myrick and others in the know, this threat is not overseas
anymore—it’s basically knocking on the back door of the US! While that is
shocking, primarily since the liberal media is covering it up to help Obama out,
what is more shocking is how dismissive and disinterested the Obama
Administration is on this. That seems like a self-destructive policy only
promoting attacks on the US homeland instead of preemptively heading them off.

Hariri wraps up Iran visit
November 30, 2010
Prime Minister Saad Hariri concluded his three-day official visit to Iran on
Monday by holding a final round of talks with Vice President Mohammad Reza
Rahimi and signing nine bilateral cooperation protocols. NOW Lebanon’s
correspondent on Monday quoted Rahimi as saying, “We depend on the wisdom and
statesmanship of Prime Minister Saad Hariri to contain the Lebanese domestic
crisis through his ability to solve all problems.” Hariri also met on Monday
with Iranian Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who said that the Lebanese
premier should "consolidate relations" with Hezbollah. The website of Khamenei's
office said he was pleased that Hariri and Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed
Hassan Nasrallah currently had good ties, adding "these relations must be more
consolidated."
"As long as the occupying Zionist regime exists, Lebanon needs resistance,"
Khamenei said in reference to Israel.
Tension is high in Lebanon amid unconfirmed reports that the Special Tribunal
for Lebanon (STL) will soon issue its indictment in the investigation of former
Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s 2005 assassination. It is rumored that the
indictment will name Hezbollah members. In a speech on November 11, Hezbollah
Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that his party will “cut off the
hand” of anyone who tries to arrest any of its members in the case.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday dismissed documents
released by whistleblower WikiLeaks as “worthless” and “mischief” which would
not affect Tehran's relations with its Arab neighbors.
"The documents that they released are a mischief. We do not see any value in
them. This act is worthless," he said at a press conference broadcast live on
state TV.
"These documents are prepared and released by the US government in a planned
manner and in pursuance of an aim. It is part of an intelligence warfare and
will not have their desired political impact.”"We are friends with the regional
countries and mischievous acts will not affect relations," he said.
The US documents released late on Sunday by the whistleblower website and its
media partners showed that Saudi Arabia had been forthright in calling for
Washington to act militarily to thwart Iran's nuclear ambitions. Despite
countries calling for a political resolution to the controversy over Iran's
uranium enrichment project, the cables show that in addition to Riyadh, both
Bahrain and Abu Dhabi suggested a radical solution may be necessary. According
to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the content of the massive US document
leak by WikiLeaks underlines the broader world's concern about Iran's nuclear
program. "Any of the comments that are being reported on allegedly from the
cables confirm the fact that Iran poses a very serious threat in the eyes of
many of her neighbors and a serious concern far beyond her region.”-NOW

Sarkozy
Meets Hariri in Latest Effort to Support Lebanese Sovereignty and Justice
Naharnet/Prime Minister Saad Hariri kicks off a three-day official visit to
Paris on Tuesday in what is seen as the most significant step in international
efforts aimed at stirring Lebanon away from its crisis. "The French leadership
will inform PM Hariri that it stands by him and his government," French
diplomatic sources told al-Mustaqbal newspaper.
It will also ask Hariri if he has any requests from France, the sources said.
Following Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Beirut last
week and Hariri's trip to Tehran over the weekend, his stop in Paris is aimed at
receiving French support for Lebanese sovereignty. French diplomatic sources
told An Nahar daily that Hariri's meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy
over lunch will be an occasion to reiterate French commitment to Lebanon's
sovereignty, independence and state institutions. During his stay in Paris,
Hariri will also hold talks with his French counterpart Francois Fillon and
Foreign Minister Michele Alliot-Marie. The sources said that Sarkozy met last
week with Qatari Premier Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr al-Thani and held
telephone conversations with Arab and international leaders involved in efforts
aimed at averting a deteriorating situation in Lebanon. Sarkozy will stress to
Hariri the need to revive the national dialogue under President Michel Suleiman,
An Nahar's sources said, adding that Paris considers all-party talks the only
guarantee for national unity."The French stance from the (Lebanese) crisis is
clear. It is keen on protecting Lebanon and circumventing any settlement at the
expense of justice" in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri's assassination case, the sources
said. Beirut, 30 Nov 10, 08:19
Larijani: Tribunal, Indictment Are Aimed at Striking Lebanese Stability
Naharnet/Iran's parliament speaker Ali Larijani said Monday that the
international tribunal and the indictment in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri's murder
case were American projects aimed at striking stability in Lebanon. Following
talks with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus, Larijani said Lebanese
political parties were capable of solving their problems without foreign
assistance. The Iranian speaker also described Lebanese Premier Saad Hariri's
visit to Tehran as "successful." Larijani also met overnight with exiled Hamas
political chief Khaled Meshaal to discuss Palestinian issues, Hamas said on its
website on Monday. Their talks at Iran's embassy in Damascus focused on
reconciliation between the Islamist Hamas and the secular Fatah party of
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, as well as the stalled Israeli-Palestinian
peace process, Hamas said.(Naharnet-AFP) Beirut, 30 Nov 10, 07:30
Roknabadi: STL an Israeli Plot to Sow Discord, Prepare Ground for Israeli Attack
Naharnet/Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi has noted that
Premier Saad Hariri's visit to Tehran "comes amid very critical situations in
the region and bears great importance in terms of timing – after (Iranian
President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad's visit to Lebanon." In an interview with Iran's
Arabic-language Al-Alam television, Roknabadi warned that "Israel and its allies
don't want the welfare of Iran or Lebanon." "They are trying to incite discord
and unrest in the region, especially in Lebanon, and they don't want the scene
of calm and stability to prevail in the region," the Iranian diplomat added.
"The Special Tribunal for Lebanon and the so-called indictment it will issue are
a conspiracy and an Israeli plot to sow discord and divisions to prepare the
ground for an aggression" on Lebanon, Roknabadi warned. As he noted that the
"wisdom of Lebanese leaders and people is capable of preventing any party from
influencing the Lebanese arena," the Iranian ambassador said that "Tehran's
policy is based on unifying all Lebanese parties and supporting any effort in
this regard, especially the Syrian-Saudi bid." Beirut, 29 Nov 10, 20:09
Syrian-Saudi Initiative Garnering More Support
Naharnet/The Syrian-Saudi initiative aimed at finding a solution to the Lebanese
crisis is garnering more regional and international support, An Nahar daily
reported Tuesday. The newspaper said such support contributes to a solution that
"ends the political and constitutional paralysis" that has struck the country.
It quoted diplomatic sources as saying that regional and international efforts
to stir Lebanon out of its crisis are so far not facing any obstacles given that
countries involved with the situation in Beirut have no interest in seeing
deteriorating political and security conditions. Beirut, 30 Nov 10, 09:16
Hariri-Jumblat Meeting Soon to Ward Off Rumors
Naharnet/Premier Saad Hariri and Progressive Socialist Party chief Walid Jumblat
would meet soon to ward off rumors about a shaky relationship between the two
men, sources close to the Druze leader said. The sources told Ad-Diyar daily in
remarks published Tuesday that the meeting was scheduled to be held earlier but
was postponed due to Hariri's trips abroad.
The meeting between Hariri and Jumblat is expected to discuss rumors about
estrangement between Center House and Mukhtara following the Druze leader's
latest stances.

Hariri Meets Fneish Ahead of Trip to France
Naharnet/Prime Minister Saad Hariri held talks with Minister of State for
Administrative Reform Mohammed Fneish at Tehran's Mehrabad airport before his
trip to Paris, pan-Arab daily al-Hayat reported Tuesday. The meeting on Monday
lasted 20 minutes, the newspaper said. Although sources from both sides refused
to comment on the talks, al-Hayat said the two men discussed Hizbullah leader
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's latest speech and the political crisis in Lebanon.
Fneish, who is one of Hizbullah's representatives in the Lebanese government,
was part of the official delegation to Iran. Beirut, 30 Nov 10, 08:42
Lebanon Informed about Israeli Decision to Withdraw from Ghajar
Naharnet/Israel informed the Lebanese army and UNIFIL representatives at the
tripartite meeting in Naqoura on Monday about "an Israeli political decision to
withdraw from the occupied Lebanese part" of the border village of Ghajar. As
Safir daily said Tuesday that the representatives didn't discuss details about
the arrangements that need to be made after the pullout.
The meeting between the three parties' representatives lasted more than 3 hours,
the newspaper said. Two weeks ago, Israel agreed to pull its troops from the
northern half of Ghajar.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said senior government ministers had
approved the withdrawal from northern Ghajar "in principle." Beirut, 30 Nov 10,

Iran tells Arab states not to fall in WikiLeaks “trap”
November 30, 2010 /Iran on Tuesday cast doubt on the authenticity of documents
released by WikiLeaks and told its Arab neighbors not to fall into the
whistleblower's "trap."
US diplomatic memos from Arab countries in the Gulf released by WikiLeaks over
the past few days uncover a fixation on the Iranian nuclear threat as well as
fear that regional conflict is inevitable. "This is a very suspicious plot. They
have planted some Western and US crimes in them to present them as credible,"
foreign ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast told a press conference when
asked about the massive US document leak. But "the enemies of the Islamic world
are pursuing a project of Iranophobia and disunity. This project only protects
the interests of the Zionist regime and its supporters," he said, referring to
Israel. "So the countries in the region must be aware not to fall into this trap
and show in practice that these plots will never have any results and convince
public opinion in practice by cooperation and unity," he said. Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday dismissed the WikiLeaks documents as "worthless"
and "mischief" which he insisted would not affect Tehran's relations with its
Arab neighbors. But US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said they underline
the broader world's concern about Iran's nuclear program.-AFP/NOW Lebanon
Israel to inform UN of Ghajar pull-out decision Tuesday
November 30, 2010 /Israel is to officially inform on Tuesday the UN and UNIFIL
of its ministerial cabinet's decision to withdraw from the northern parts of the
Lebanese Ghajar village, Israeli radio reported. UN Special Coordinator for
Lebanon Michael Williams and UNIFIL Commander General Alberto Asarta Cuevas will
meet with Israeli officials on Tuesday to receive the pull-out decision, the
report said. The Israeli radio quoted the Deputy Director-General of Foreign
Ministry, Rafi Barak, as saying, that he has not set a date yet for the
withdrawal, but that he will in Tuesday's meeting. “After the pullout, Israel
will ask the UN to issue a new resolution stating that Israel has withdrawn from
all Lebanese lands, in accordance to resolution 1701 which was endorsed after
the [2006 July War],” the radio added. Lebanese and Israeli military
representatives met at the UNIFIL base in Naqoura on Monday morning to discuss
the Israeli withdrawal plan. On November 17, Israel's security cabinet backed
plans to withdraw Israel Defense Force (IDF) troops from the northern part of
Ghajar and hand over control to UNIFIL.-NOW Lebanon
Haber: Kataeb disapproves Hariri statement on Lebanon’s defense formula
November 30, 2010 /Kataeb bloc MP Fadi Haber said that his party disagrees with
Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s Monday statement in Iran, in which he voiced his
commitment to the Ministerial Statement clause that “the Army, People and
Resistance is Lebanon’s defense formula.”In an interview with Al-Balad newspaper
published on Tuesday, Haber said that the Kataeb cannot accept Hariri’s
statement. “The Kataeb voiced reservations regarding this clause [when the
Ministerial Statement was drafted in 2009],” Haber said.
“The Resistance should be integrated into the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF).”

Al-Akhbar: Hezbollah to take action if STL issues indictment in December
November 30, 2010 /In the event that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL)’s
pending indictment is issued in December, Hezbollah will implement “field plans”
it has already laid out, pro-Hezbollah Al-Akhbar newspaper reported on Tuesday.
“Hezbollah officials will not respond to any foreign actor and will implement
their plans [on the ground],” the daily said.
However, the paper added that “the political conflict will shift to a more
stable phase if the court’s indictment were to be postponed until next March.”
Tension is high in Lebanon amid unconfirmed reports that the STL will soon issue
its indictment in former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s 2005 assassination. It is
rumored that the indictment will name Hezbollah members. In a speech on November

Egyptian Security Used Live Ammunition on Christian Coptic Protesters, 4 Killed/(AINA)
GMT 11-30-2010 /
http://www.aina.org/news/20101129225702.htm
Assyrian International News Agency
(AINA) -- Christian Copts worldwide were shocked and enraged at the use of live
ammunition by Egyptian state security forces against unarmed Coptic protesters,
causing the death of three Coptic young men. A four-year old child suffocated
from tear gas thrown inside the chapel. Rights groups inside and outside of
Egypt have condemned the use of excessive violence by security forces and the
use of live ammunition against Coptic demonstrators. Efforts by State Security
to hide the use of firearms on unarmed protesters were in vain, as the rising
death toll, hospital reports on those admitted, and video footage and eyewitness
testimony have revealed the details of the incident. Coptic activists Sherif
Ramzy and Ramy Kamel have conducted interviews with witnesses. CSW Advocacy
Director Andrew Johnston blamed the violence on "excessive" police tactics and
expressed his sadness at the "unnecessary" loss of life and injuries. The
Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR) said that the events are a
serious escalation in the State's treatment of its Christian citizens. "We're
not talking about social violence occasioned by the construction of a church,
but rather security forces opening fire on protesters demanding their
constitutional right to worship without arbitrary interference or
discrimination," said Hossam Bahgat, EIPR's Executive Director. "Even assuming
Copts in the area wanted to convert a services building into a church for
worship, that does not justify this degree of police violence. Demonstrators
should not be shot at for violating building codes". EIPR called on the Public
Prosecutor to prosecute the security personnel responsible for the deaths and
injury of Christians.
Hany el Gezeyri, head of Copts for Egypt, denounced the use of live ammunition,
adding that he is concerned "whether the discrimination of the state against the
Copts became an official persecution or is this a way to terrorize Copts so that
they keep silent?"Attorney Maged Hanna said that apart from the Copts, he is not
aware of any incident in Egypt where live ammunition was fired against unarmed
protesters, adding "this is a State terrorizing its citizens."
The official figures of the incident were 2 death, 67 wounded and 170 Copts
arrested. However, the Coptic Youth Front said in a statement that more than 300
people were wounded and over 1000 detained, including women. Accoring to the
statement, many wounded refrained from going to hospital for treatment for fear
of being arrested.
International Coptic lawyer Dr. Awad Chafik said that the number of detainees is
enormous, but because Coptic families are hiding for fear of further arrests, it
is difficult to get the correct numbers. Wagih Yacoub, a human rights activists,
complained about the treatment of the wounded. "They were shackled to their
hospital beds and then sent to detention camps."
The same view is held by activist Magdy Khalil, who believes that the State
dealings with the Egyptian Copts has evolved from discrimination to persecution
to participation (directly or indirectly) in most of the crimes against them, to
the stage of practicing 'State Terrorism' against a peaceful minority seeking to
exercise their natural rights in prayer and worship."
Clashes broke out on November 24 between Christian protesters and Egyptian
security forces over the new construction of the St. Mary and St. Michael
churches, in the poor neighborhood of Talbiya, in Omraniya, Giza (AINA
11-27-2010).
"Bricks hurling were exchange between them, then security forces used tear gas,
rubber bullets and live ammunition" according to the statement released by the
Coptic Church's Giza diocese on November 26 (video of security forces attack on
Church)."The Governor of Giza, gave instructions to modify the building services
permit, issued in 2009 into a church building. But a conflicting decision was
issued by the Chief of the District to halt construction and remove the
irregularities."
The statement added that the decision of the Chief of the District angered the
people who gathered next to the building, fearing that the district might do
harm to the construction, triggering the ensuing clashes.
Witnesses describe how enraged the Copts became upon seeing Security forces
bulldozing their equipment and wetting their cement sacks. "State security stole
the church pews and the donation boxes," Father Mina Zarif told Hope-Sat TV
Channel, who also confirmed the use of live ammunition on protesters. For more
than ten years the Copts tried to obtain a license to build the Talbiya church.
Unlike Muslim citizens, who only need a municipal license to build mosques, the
Copts require a presidential decree for a church, based on the 1856 Ottoman
Hamayoni Decree, in addition to ten humiliating conditions laid down by the
Ezaby Pasha Decree of 1934.
Because obtaining a license to build a church in the light of all these
obstacles is almost impossible, the Governor of Giza suggested to the Copts to
build a center for community services and then after completion to use it as a
church to pray. Copts began construction in the past four months and only the
roof was left to complete, without any objection from any one.
But the situation changed completely when the Copts started to put a "dome" over
the building, believing that this was compatible with the essence of the
agreement with the governor.
Anba Theodosius, Bishop of Giza said that just three hours before finishing the
dome "someone" gave orders to security forces to attack the people at the church
construction site. "No one knows until now who gave this order," he added.

Khoury to Erdogan: An ally of Iran and Syria shouldn't meddle in Lebanon
Cedars News

Washington,DC
Commenting on the visit to Lebanon by Turkey's Prime Minister, the President of
the World Maronite Union (WMU), Sheikh Sami Khoury said "we do not consider this
visit as in the interest of Lebanon in general and in the interest of its civil
society. AKP leader Rejeb Tayyib Erdogan is no friend of a free Lebanon but an
ally to Lebanon's enemies."
Khoury said "Turkey's AKP can fool many in the West and in Lebanon but does not
fool us at all. The AKP Government has signed a strategic alliance treaty with
the Syrian regime the occupier of Lebanon in which jails hundreds of Lebanese
detainees are still being tortured. Erdogan has been siding with the Iranian
Khomeinist regime in the nuclear crisis but more dangerous, the AKP stood with
Ahmedinijad the oppressor against the Green Movement of Iran. When the ally of
terrorists come to Lebanon he is not welcomed by the Lebanese people."
"We deplore the short sight political vision of the Lebanese Government which
allowed this visit to take place giving Erdogan a platform for his Ottoman
ambitions from the historic area of Akkar. The AKP's agenda is to reestablish
the Ottoman empire, the very enemy that massacred the Lebanese people during
WWI. Erdogan is meddling in Lebanese affairs when his intelligence services are
coordinating with Syria's mukahbarat and with Hezbollah."
Khoury said "the Lebanese Diaspora is a friend to the Turkish secular people and
institutions but rejects the AKP Islamist and Jihadist policies wrapped with
political Taqiya. Erdogan has no business delivering speeches about his regime's
Jihadi agenda from Lebanon's soil. He and Ahmedinijad are two faces of one coin.
They both want to expand their influence in Lebanon. Ahmedinijad wants to use
the Shia card and Erdogan wants to use the Sunni card. But both are part of the
same regional axis, the one that supports Hezbollah, Hamas and the terrorists of
the region.
We warn the Lebanese public not to fall to the propaganda machine which is
trying to convince people that Erdogan will protect the Sunnis facing
Ahmadinijad who supports the Shia. This is a game, the two regimes are in one
basket and they are coordinating this game. They want Sunnis and Shia in Lebanon
to look at these two regimes as their protectors while in reality they belong to
the same axis.
We warn the Christian public in Lebanon not to fall into the trap of believing
that Erdogan is a neutral party who wants to help Lebanon. The AKP Government is
anti-NATO, pro Jihadist and is claiming they have the support of the US. They
don't have such support, they are only gaining time. We urge Christian
politicians not to rush to Ankara and Istambul to obtain economic favors from
the AKP as they did with Damascus and Tehran. We warn those politicians that we
will expose them and their businesses if they sell out to Erdogan.
We stand by our brothers and sisters from the Armenian community in their quest
to obtain an AKP recognition of the Armenian Genocide. We ask the Erdogan
Government to solve its own problems inside their own Republic before teaching
the region lessons in policies. Let them solve the Kurdish problem first. Let
them withdraw from Cyprus which they have been occupying. Let them stop
harassing the secular segments of Turkish society."
Khoury concluded that the time for AKP games in the region is coming to an end.
"The new US Congress and the current European Parliament knows what is the real
agenda of the Islamist AKP. And the Lebanese Diaspora in 30 countries also
knows. Mr Erdogan, your hands off Lebanon."
Kerry to Qatar: Golan must return to Syria
WikiLeaks cable reveals US senator told Qatar leaders that Israel must make
tough decision despite Syrian support of Hezbollah. Kerry: East J'lem should be
Palestinian capital

United States Senator and chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
John Kerry said during a meeting with Qatar leaders last February that the Golan
Heights must be returned to Syria and that east Jerusalem must become the
Palestinian capital as part of an Israeli-Palestinian peace treaty.
Document originating in US Embassy in Tel Aviv reveals then-opposition leader
harshly criticized former prime minister's handling of Second Lebanon War.
Israel 'dripped troops into (Hezbollah's) gunsights,' Netanyahu told Americans,
an approach he termed 'stupid'
In a cable reporting the meeting's content leaked Tuesday night on WikiLeaks,
Kerry also stressed that Syrian President Bashar Assad continues to arm
Hezbollah and intervene in Lebanese matters.
Kerry served as US President Barack Obama's special emissary in meetings with
Assad, but was unsuccessful in convincing him to strategically disconnect from
Iran and stop supporting terror organizations. Another cable published on
WikiLeaks detailed Kerry's February meeting with Qatari Emir Khalifa Bin Hamad
and Prime Minister Hamad Al Thani.
The Qatari Emir told Kerry that one must focus on Syria in order to achieve
Israeli-Arab peace. Kerry agreed with him, but mentioned that Assad must make
tough decisions and take risks. The senator added that Netanyahu has to
compromise and return the Golan Heights as part of the peace equation.
Qatari Emir to Kerry: Don't believe Iran
Kerry was not forthcoming about his own personal views in the meetings, but
rather presented the Obama administration's policy.
In regards to Jerusalem, the US senator told the Qatari leaders that he is aware
that control of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the establishment of a Palestinian
capital in east Jerusalem is not negotiable as far as the Palestinians are
concerned.
However, he made it clear that Israel will not yield on a number of issues. He
said that the Jewish character of the State of Israel is none negotiable and
that the demilitarization and borders of the Palestinian state can only be
solved though negotiations.
The cable also stated that towards the end of the meeting, the Qatari Emir told
Kerry that the Iranians can not be trusted. The Emir added that after 30 years
of experience with Iran, they will say 100 words to you but you can believe only
one.
